How Safe Is Park Wall?

Last summer, at a meeting with Queens West representatives, 49th Avenue residents questioned officials about the security of their property bordering the new strip park.

It now appears that their concerns were not addressed by the design. The walls intended to separate their backyards from the park are perforated. Each cement panel will have six inch pieces of glass, set back 3 inches in these openings, thus creating a ladder-like arrangement...too easy to climb.
